After qualifying as a journalist, Sam spent time travelling the world, playing rugby, picking fruit and working as a freelancer. Once back in Blighty, PR and marketing stood out as the future so he headed down to London to work for a specialist food and drink agency.
Coming from a big family who love nothing more than a good feast, Sam always had a passion for food and drink but it was working alongside brands, farmers, producers and journalists that really got him hooked.
After working his way up from Junior Account Executive to Account Director in six years carrying out a diverse range of marketing activities for brands such as Heineken, Tropical Sun, Jazz Apples, Coopers Ales and Trees Can’t Dance, it was time for a change. Craving his independence, Hungry Communications was set up in 2012.
In addition to being food and drink-obsessed, Sam is also an avid sportsman playing rugby, football, cricket and golf.
